PETS CARE: A Lesson in Vietnamese – Learn Vietnamese With SVFF

Introduction

Taking care of pets and showing them love is a common practice among animal lovers. In this lesson, we will learn how to talk about pets and their care in Vietnamese.

Vietnamese Conversation

The following is a conversation between two people discussing pet care:

Má: Trời ơi, Gấu của má, sao con đi chân đất dưới sàn vậy?
Con: Sen đâu? Sao không ẵm em?
Má: Haizz. đúng là Sen thiệt luôn.
Má: Thôi má đưa đây, con lau chân cho Gấu. Nó là chó mà, đi dưới đất thì đã sao?
Con: Chó thì sao? Nó là con của má.
Con: Sao má không chăm mà bắt con đi dọn hậu quả vậy?
Má: Thì phụ má chớ. Má tắm, rồi chải lông, bắt ve cho Gấu để em nó thơm thơ lên giường nằm còn gì.
Con: Rồi con cũng tốn thêm tiền mua hạt, mua sữa, mua pate cho nó mà. Còn tiền chích ngừa, sổ giun, với tiền đồ chơi nữa chớ.
Má: Thì Gấu của má ăn cơm với cá quoài ngán sao con ha?
Con: Rồi mai nhà mình đi Đà Lạt 4 ngày thì ai chăm Gấu, ai cho gấu ăn.
Má: Má cho Gấu đi Spa thư giãn, để người ta tỉa lông, cắt móng, massage cho Gấu chớ sao.
Con: Thiệt, con không biết ai mới là con ruột của má nữa?
Má: Sen, tới giờ em Gấu uống cà phê rồi. Ra đầu ngõ mua ly bạc xỉu cho em nó coi. Ah 2 ly nha, 1 ly cho má nữa.
Con: Rồi còn con thì sao? (mặt ngơ ngác)
