Toronto Teacher Mom: Have You Met Grandmasaurus?

This cute children’s book follows Grandmasaurus as she accompanies her grandchildren on a field trip to the Aquarium Rescue Centre. It’s not long they arrive when she starts sneezing and transforming into various Mesozoic Era marine reptiles, stirring panic amongst her grandchildren who have been tasked with completing a field trip report by the end of their visit. Instead, they must try and find their grandma before she sneezes again!

The second in The Adventures of Grandmasaurus series, this book is written by a local Toronto children’s author and a long-time blogging friend of mine Caroline Fernandez. She is also the author of Stop Reading This Book and the Boredom Busters set. The fun illustrations, featuring Grandma Shonisaurus, Grandma Elasmosaurus and more, are by Shannon O’Toole, a Toronto based illustrator, painter and elementary school teacher.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book to facilitate this review, which will be donated to my school library.
